Sometimes creepy, sometimes sexy and sometimes funny, that’s the work of Ian Jepson, illustrator and designer from Cape Town, South Africa. The gateway drugs artowork was created for the so named synth pop band. It was photographed in an old tv. But his main course is poster design. We got here some very nice artworks from some cool parties. It seems typography is a good gateway!
FRANKENSTEIN (1931) - HALLOWEEN SPECIAL: UNIVERSAL MONSTERS (Part 2)
Directed by James Whale (see Part 3 and 4), the first of many movies featuring the hulking creature was adapted from Mary Shelley’s novel warning about the dangers of industrial revolution during mid-19th Century’s Britain.
Karloff brings both terror and humanity in the inhuman creature making his performance one that all the actors playing monsters have to stand up to. Mel Brook’s wonderful parody in Young Frankenstein makes it even more impressive (watch excerpt here)
